- All citizens, Greeks and legally residing foreigners, who have an AMKA number (Social Security Number) are entitled to full access to all Public Health Structures
- Third-country citizens with legal residence documents, must have or issue an AMKA number in order to have full access to all Public Health Structures
- Pregnant women, minors or patients with chronic or non-curable diseases coming from a third country and do not have or are unable to issue an AMKA number, must contact the local Citizen Service Centre (KEP) for the issue of a Foreign Healthcare Card (KYPA)
- All European Union citizens must present us with a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) which gives them access to medical care that is necessary for their temporary stay in our country, charged by the respective national health provider of the country of origin.
